1999: The Dutch company LATAM B.V. develops the first commercial plate with vertical vibration technology for end-consumers.

2004: LATAM B.V. operates under the name VibroGym® and produces the original plate, designed by Marcel Tamminga (NL) with high quality SIEMENS electronics. Development and production is in Europe.

2004: VibroGym® International introduces the plate VibroGym® Professional worldwide. Together with the new product, VibroGym® launches a new and very efficient training method in the fitness market:
VibroTraining®. From now on, personal trainers, medical practitioners and physiotherapists are able to train as a certified VibroTrainer®.

2007: VibroGym® is the first producer of plates with vertical vibration worldwide that gets the medical certification from the notified body KEMA Quality in conformity with the EC directive 93/42/EEC.

2008: Together with the most famous German academy for personal trainer DTA VibroGym® develops a special health concept, especially regarding typical business diseases. In Germany, the prevention
program is paid by health insurance funds, because of its success.

2008: VibroGym® ameliorates its premium products consistently. During the FIBO in April 2008, the leading international trade show for fitness, wellness and health, the company launches the next generation of certified vibration plates for fitness, wellness and medical use – the VibroGym® EvolutionMed is the first new plate that will be offered as MDD certified system.

2008: An English survey with medical practitioners, therapists and patients prove the success of VibroTraining® with VibroGym® platforms in therapy with MS patients. A lot of symptoms of multiple sclerosis sufferers can be allayed and quality of life improved.
