Cologne, 18 November 2008 – As manufacturer of the “Original Plate”, VibroGym® convinces with their high-quality products worldwide. VibroGym® is the first company to produce training machines with a vertical vibration platform, while fulfilling highest standards regarding safety and performance aspects. Having obtained the most detailed medical certification worldwide according to the EG directive 93/42/EEC, VibroGym® heralded the start of a new era for vibration platforms in 2007 and has been extending its leading position in 2008.
Manufactured in Europe, all training machines meet highest requirements both regarding technique and design. The company VibroGym® International emerged from the Dutch company LATAM BV, which fabricated the first commercial vertical vibration platform in 1999. Inventing the original VibroGym® traces back to results obtained in Russian space programs, where sports physicians examined astronauts, who suffered from musclereduction as a result of being in the state of weightlessness. They tried to compensate this reduction by stimulating their muscles with electronic impulses, and thereby proved that
vertical vibration, used in the right frequency, has a positive effect on human fitness. On the basis of these research results, Dr. Vladimir T. Nazarov invented the “Whole Body Vibration” concept. Being one
of the most qualified biochemists and sports scientists in the world, he used to advise and counsel world and Olympic champions in gymnastics for many years. Today’s VibroTraining® has been developed to a
great extent with his guidance.
When training on a VibroGym®, vibrations are being transferred to your body, so that your body will be slightly brought out of balance in a controlled way. Your body will automatically try to rebalance, which
